This seamoss is sold in is raw form, it must be washed and soaked prior to use. Seamoss can be eaten plain or blended down to a gel form to be enjoyed.
Step one: Clean your sink, or washing area to prepare for the seamoss.
Step two: Open your seamoss and begin to thoroughly rinse and wash to ensure debris is freed.
Step three: After thoroughly washing place your seamoss in a large glass bowl, and add in spring water. Slice one lime and place it throughout your bowl. Add enough water to cover your seamoss 1 inch above.
Step four: Allow the seamoss to soak for 3-12 hours. To fully cook/alkalize the seamoss allow it to soak with the spring water and lime for 24 hours at room temperature.
Step five: Once the seamoss has soaked all the water you may now blend it down into a gel form.
Step six: To store your seamoss place it in an airtight glass container in the fridge.
** Seamoss may be refrigerated for up to 4 weeks after being turned to gel.
